Well, I'm all excited. I came back from the Goodwill today with a Department 56 Christmas village piece of Big Ben and Parliament. It plugs in, lights up, etc. And I got it for $6. These things are quite expensive.

Being a bit of an Anglophile, and having a livingroom that reflects that, I can see this as being a really nice addition to my Christmas decorating in about half a year away.

Woo-hoo! Go, go Goodwill! Smiley

I got all jazzed and posted some of my British-oriented thrift finds.

Bud-- that sounds ominous. Smiley

Wow, TSR, it's gorgeous! What a score. Very stately. I can almost hear the chimes Grin Your site is wonderful.

What a fabulous find!! They retail for around $85. I collect Dept. 56 Snow Villages and found a piece at my local GW for $12 and thought it was a good deal! Way to go!
