DD's Anne Klein find

DD and I were out tshopping this pm.  She was looking thru the clothes and found an Anne Klein very fancy silk dress.  Heavy on the beaded trim, swirly skirt, really pretty.  It's pink which, as a redhead is not exactly her color, but it's off the shoulder so she can work with it, it won't be right next to her face.  And the best part.  She paid $1!  It had a mark on it, hence the $1 price tag,  but a Tide pen took it right out.  So she is doin' the happy dance.

Sounds beautiful, great find.  My daughter had a semi-formal dance recently and I looked in vain for weeks to find a dress at the thrifts.  All ugly or not in good condition and not even priced cheaply!  When we went to the regular stores though there were tons of nice bargain clearance dresses, but $1.00 is pretty hard to beat.  I'd love to see a picture of it.

She got the stains out with a Tide pen and hand washed the dress.  It looks great and  fits her perfectly.  She wants to change out the buttons on the back as they are pretty plain but since she only paid a buck for the dress, I think we can spring for new buttons and still have a good deal.
