I am new to this forum so hello to everyone Cheesy
I was in the mood to 'pick' today so I went to several thrift shops in town.  I found some cool items...a 1940's lantern, an old recipe box, a copper serving trey, and these two cute wall plaques.
I was wondering if anyone has ever seen anything like these before or knows anything about them.  I can't find anything on the artists or the pictures online. I am attching a pic.

These are plaques with images based on the Hummel figurines.  Some plaques might say hummel on them if they are authorized by Hummel or others might be reproductions, you can also find the reproduction figures at thrifts fairly often.  If you see a real Hummel figure with no damages it might be worth picking up if the price is right, some of them are valuable.  The little plaques are fairly common thrift store items they were very popular in the 60's/70's probably 80's too.

They were very popular and probably mass produced because while working in retirement communities, just about everyone had something like this in their apartments.  I think they are very cute and seem to make people smile....which is priceless in it's own way.

I esp like the one on the right.  So cute.
