Some years ago, well over ten I think, my DH gave me a candleabra I can only describe as unique. I had seen it at a small design store that used to be nearby that stocked what I can only describe as unusual pieces, some estate pieces, some studio pieces, some bizarre catalog pieces. The candleabra is quite large, consisting of circus cats jumping thru hoops of, well, fire (the candles) with a ring master at the bottom. Brushed aluminium finish, heavy metal, the thing is large and weighs a ton. I loved it when I first saw it, love it still. Bizarre I know, but that's me. Like I have to explain my love of the unusual to a group of thrifters. Yesterday the local Women's Club had their annual Attic Sale. Last year at this same sale I found a necklace for my DD that she loved, a macabre little piece that consisted of a repro trepinning knife. Like mother, like daughter perhaps. As I was saying, yesterday at the sale, I looked around, not finding much, when I saw it. A single candle holder, of a mouse in a circus clown suit. Same finish, same weight, no lable on it, but has to be part of the same collection. I almost burst out laughing when I saw it. Of course, he had to come home with me. And for the grand sum of $.50, I didn't have to think twice. Don't know if there is any moe out there but I will keep looking. I never expected to find anymore pieces, so who knows. Jeannie
