Cookie and I went to one of our favorite thrifts in Longwood, The Christian Sharing Center Thrift and Boutique, to pick up our new to use used washing machine.
While there I noticed that they were having a "fill a bag of books for $5 sale". Always doom for me..  Luckily I found this really cool set of books.
They're from 1961 and they appear to be classroom teaching material.

The books each include 2 filmstrips as well as a record that is read by famous voices of the day.. Vincent Price, Edward R. Murrow, Lowell Thomas, Alexander King and many more.

The set includes, The South Seas, France, Hawaii, The Congo, Holland, Italy Spain The Soviet union and more....

Now I have to find the player

While finding the actual all-in-one player for this set might prove difficult, I'm sure the records will play on a standard turntable.

Nice find.

That is all.

Awesome score!  I found some vintage high school filmstrips with records at Thrift Town last year.  I love this kind of stuff.
