I don't know what to call this style of kitchenware, but I do know that I am really attracted to it.  It's so colorful and happy.  It sort of has a Peter Max vibe to it.  All I know is it came out of Japan in the 1960s.  Some are Howard Holt pieces, most are not marked with a manufacturer.  You can pick this stuff up so cheap.  I doubt I've paid more than a $1 for anything shown here; the cups are usually 50 cents or less.

I swear I'm done posting stuff now.

OmiGawd,omiGawd, omiGaaawwwwwwwwwwddddd!

I'm totally in LOVE with all these pieces. I swear, I had a hot flash just looking at them.

Wow, man, the COLORS!!! I LOVE this look! It is so happy and bright. It's very early 70s to me. My mom would have had all this stuff. Late 60s-early 70s--a great time to be alive and in the 'burbs!

I don't know what the official name of this type of design is but I always think of them as "Flower Power" type pieces.  They look nice together as a group.  Holt Howard stuff can range from more 50ish looking pieces to the flowery stuff you have.   Nice tablecloth (in the other post), my vegetarian daughter wouldn't allow it on our table, but it looks great on yours!

I am LOL at your post!  I sear it take  true thrifter to get excited ver $.50 cups!  No wonder my DH married me.  I must be among the world's cheapest dates!  NOt big on movies unless I really reallly want to see it.  But take me to a thrift store and I can be happy for hours and spend only buck or two.  Must be in the DNA or something.
