Besides pyrex one thing I have a soft spot for is old children''s books.  I''ve got some nice old Little Golden books, and always keep an eye out for the Billy and Blaze books.  Some of the old books have such gorgeous colors in the drawings and they can almost look 3d.

I found 2 1957 books last night that I''ve never seen before.  They are a children''s series based on a horse named Tizz.  And both had dustjackets in good condition.

Very nice! And you''re smartly collecting books that a whole bunch of other folks haven''t "discovered" as being trendy to do so, so you''re ahead of the antiques dealers and Ebay sellers who would otherwise be snapping them up from the thrift stores.

One style of books that I don''t think anyone will ever have a problem finding at thrift shops is microwave cookbooks. There''s always a plethora.
