I mainly collect toys, games, Duran Duran items, 80's memorabilia.  Thrifting is so much fun because you never know what you'll find and where you'll find it.

A few weeks ago I was coming back from Chicago and I stopped in Savers on Reynolds Road in Toledo, OH.  I was in the Jewelry section and I found a cute pink & green Sex Pistols button.  One of the associates was putting out more jewelry and we started talking.  I asked if she happened to have any more music related buttons and she said yes I have some Duran Duran ones.  I said "no way, please I need those" and she gave them to me.  I said you made my day!!!  They were only .49 each.  I had some growing up and I can't find them :-(

Cool:).

I collect records (best find was the day I found a bunch of Beatles records at a local thrift store) & cassettes.

I also collect some New Kids On The Block memorabilia (haha) & interesting books that deal with pop culture.

Whoa, you found Beatles LP's, that is awesome!  Did you add them to your collection or resell them?

I like NKOTB too :-)

At the food bank thrift today they had a bunch of late 80's teen magazines, several featured New Kids on the cover and one of the Coreys (cant' remember the last names) etc.  They were hilarious!

I kept them for my collection:).  Some of them are not in the best condition, but I was still excited that I had found a few Beatles records.

I also bought a record by CSNY and my mom noticed that it featured Joni Mitchell's signature.  It said Joni Mitchell 1974.  Not sure if someone just doodled her name on there or if she actually signed it?

One day I found this huge jigsaw poster puzzle featuring New Kids On The Block & I also found another one that featured Luke Perry & Jason Priestley.

Savers seems like a cool thrift store.
