Not that I collect VHS but I do buy it if it's a movie I'd want to watch. I mostly try to buy letterbox or widescreen, mostly.
I got an Extreme Surfing video that I watched last night. It was from 1990 and featured guy I was familiar with and some great ripping action.

Yesterday we got Jurassic Park and The Lion King on Laser Disc, each for a dime. Both are letterbox too.

A dime?! Man, I'm getting ripped off! I have to pay $2 or $3 for my LaserDiscs...although buying $10 players makes up for it, I guess.

Anyway, I'm not a VHS collector, but after seeing this guy on the 'Tube, I may have to look a little more closely at the VHS racks.

i like cheezy horror films and have a pretty good collection of 80's flicks..and i dont really see teh big deal in purchasing them on vhs ...usually i always find a huge stockpile of them at value village or the local goodwill for $2 a pop and such....as far as my more favorite films ? i usually buy them on DVD.

Well, if anybody finds a VHS copy of "Alice, Sweet Alice" grab it! It's an excellent 70s horror movie, and I don't think it's on DVD.

I guess I don't consider myself a collector of VHS but I do have a lot of them.  I pick them when I find one I like.  I especially like classic movies-specifically muscials.

I have a ton of them, but I don't consider myself a collector.  I'm too cheap to splurge for TIVO, so I still buy blank VHS tapes when they're priced sensibly at goodwill of salvation army.

See you next time
