We've decided to go to Mt. Dora today...  Maybe I'll run into someone.  I'll be wearing my Tiki god Hawaiian shirt...

Well, maybe next time.  I plan on visiting Florida a lot more often this year.  We're due for another shopping extravaganza like GB, Cookie, Troy McClure, and I did in Daytona about a year and a half ago.  Grandpa's land yacht is just sitting in the garage down there just waiting for the opportunity.  Hopefully when things get settled in this Cookie & GB's new baby maybe they can go on a shopping trip again.

Maybe maybe.... The baby is settling into a routine a little better now.
There's a HUGE Lutheran Village rummage sale in April. We'd probably be interested in that...
It's in Oviedo, which is east of Orlando, probably about an hours drive from Daytona..
I think the baby would be too out of control for an entire days thrifting. Her 3 months 25% birthday is today.

Yes please let me know about when that sale is in Oveido in April. My best friend stayed there for a few months when her daughter had her baby and I visited there in November so I actually know where it is. Now to convince my hubby...Hopefully its that first week when we may be traveling on spring break. ;-)

The sale is actually May 2nd. I spoke to Donna at The Lutheran Haven and she gave me the scoop.
Cookie and I are going to drive to Orlando on Friday the 1st and stay the night after visiting with friends. The next morning we'll be eating breakfast at Oviedo's best diner (all are welcome to join) and then we'll be hitting the sale at 8am. The sale goes until 2pm..

I'll post all the details 1 week before the sale as an event in the forum's calender..
