Thrifting in Yuma, AZ

Just got back from a business road trip to Yuma, AZ.  I hit a bunch of thrift stores out there, and there weren't many bargains or finds on what I was looking for.

Stores I hit:
2 Goodwills - nothing - the newer store had a Nakamichi BX-1 cassette deck for $17.99, but it didn't work - I couldn't even get the well door to open (eject).  I already have a BX-2, so it was no sale.
Assistance League of Yuma - 3 cassettes @ $.25 apiece
Precious Treasures in Somerton, AZ - nothing
Salvation Army - nothing in Yuma proper (but they did seem to have some rather cool looking vintage purses, but since I wouldn't know what's good, I simply looked and noted and then moved on); hit another SA store on Fortuna Road (out in the foothills to the east) and found some tapes, but they were $.75 each - bought them even though they were more than I usually like to pay, and I was able to offset them with some cassettes purchased at
St. Vincent de Paul - I picked up 11 cassettes (including a Nakamichi ZX-C90! - my find of the trip) for $.25 apiece.

Here's an ethical question:  If you bring a standard-priced item (say a paperback book or what have you) to the check out, and the cashier thinks the price is less than you know - do say something?  I ask because at the Assistance League store, the cashier was going to charge me $.10 for each tape, rather than $.25 for each, and I said something.  I guess for $.45, I still have my integrity...

Not a great thrifting trip, but an okay one, nonetheless.

Hi ya;

Yes, call me stoopit, but yes, I do tell the cashier about the price difference, 'cause you are right---it is all about integrity.  If the situation was reversed--if the product was more than it was said to be out on the floor--I'd want to know.

I am very blessed that I don't need anything--or want anything--that badly that I would create bad self-karma; I do that unintentionally enough as it is
