I originally posted this in the "introduce ourselves" thread but this seems like a better fit.

My name's Leanne and I'm addicted to stuff. I quit my job at a big ad agency in NYC to take a thrifting roadtrip with my Dad. We're starting in our hometown in Texas, making our way through the South, up the East coast, pit stop in NYC then back down towards Memphis, Little Rock, and eventually back in Austin.

I plan on keeping track of my finds on twitter where I'd also like to take suggestions from all you amazing and knowledgeable little thrift bugs out there. Any suggestions on second hand shops, good coffee and pie, dinosaur parks, and playlists is welcome and encouraged.

That sounds awesome, my dream roadtrip!  Lucky you to have such a great Dad (well, my Dad is pretty great too, he's just not that into thrifting).  I look forward to hearing all about it, I am farther up than NYC but if you make it into New England I can recommend a few things including Dino parks!
