This past weekend, Cookie and I drove to Atlanta to visit my family for Fathers Day. Just to see if the directory would work for traveling, we looked up thrift stores in Valdosta GA and went thrifting.
Valdosta is just north of the FL/GA border off of I-75. It's a very quaint college town that's also nationally famouse for Vidalia Onions. Anyhow, as we were approaching the city, Cookie used her phone to look up the stores in our directory and then used my phone to call one. The lady who worked at The Charity Shoppe at 309 N. Patterson St. was very friendly and gave us great directions which only took us just 3 miles off our route. On the way to her shop, we saw another thrift that wasn't in our directory and shopped there. Cookie bought a glass egg candle holder. The store had just opened and the owner was thrilled that we came in. The new store is called Helping Hands Thrift Store and is at 101 N. Ashley St.
I believe ChrisMiss also travels with TheThriftShopper.Com. ChrisMiss has been really excited about helping with the directory and has added many thrift stores for everyone to enjoy.

Yes, Good Buddy, I love to travel around the country and visit those thrift stores.  As I come across any that aren't on the list I add them to your list.

It's really great to visit all the different thrift stores.  Many many bargains to be found.  I'm glad that you had a good time thrifting on your trip for Fathers Day.

Looking for more thrift stores,

Chris
