I stumbled across this page by accident looking for thrift stores in my area.  I think I'm addicted to reading all of your great finds!  It makes me wonder what I've come across and passed up because I didn't know any better!

Anyway, my name is Kristen, and my fiance Weston and I have a 10 month old named Sydney.  I've recently started an etsy.com page (www.etsy.com/shop/ohsydney) because I ADORE vintage infant clothes!  I wish I lived in a bigger city that had more thrifting opportunities!

Glad to be here!

Welcome! I'm glad you found us. Cute baby! We have a 15+ month old girl ourselves. Cookie loves vintage infant clothes. At this very moment Audrey is wearing a little yellow Easter dress with daisies on it and a little white bonnet. She's afraid of the Easter Bunny as of today as well as Santa as of last Christmas, not a good sign.
Cool picture.

Ooooh, I love the stuff in your Etsy shop!  I have to admit that I've bought Audrey vintage baby clothes that I know she might be too big for, especially if they're only 75 cents.  Usually she can fit into them at least for an hour, which is enough time to get a good photo!

Your baby is adorable!  I live in a somewhat rural area and only have 3 thrift stores at my daily disposal with a few others about 30+ min away.  I do OK so it is possible, you just have to go ALOT which is probably harder with a baby.

You have given me incentive to start looking at the baby clothes at my thrifts to see if they carry vintage stuff.  They probably do better on Etsy than Ebay I suspect.  One of the Sal Armys here marks the kids stuff pretty cheap to begin with so now I will have to start looking!  Good luck with your Etsy shop!

Yeah, I pretty much have to go thrifting every other day!  My arms are getting buff from lugging around Sydney!  I ALWAYS try and let her wear the cute vintage stuff first, that way I get more for my money AND I can still pass it on!  Thanks for the warm welcome!
