I am a thrift store addict probably because I love everything about thrift stores.  The first thing that I love is when i buy something, I know that there is most likely a story behind it, it isn't some fresh off the rack item that there are hundreds of just like it.  There is also the way that certain clothes get more comfortable with age.

About me: I'm a 19yr old living in MO where there are lots of good thrifting opportunities if you know where to look.  I also just got a beautiful Persian kitty from the humane society, her name is Starla and she is a wonderful cat.  Other than that I just work and hang out with friends and shop when I have the money!!

I was thrifting last week and saw this thing that they use to do breathing exercises when the rehabilitate people with respitory problems.

I couldn't help but think of someone blowing chunks muccus into this thing.

I am sure the store had it sanitized  and I am sure it was a bargain ($3.75)...but some things I would rather buy new....

And don't get me started on the matresses....

Ok, maybe I don't love buying those things from thrift stores I was thinking more along the lines of clothes....but you know....some people might actually NEED to buy those items from a thrift store or there might be no other way of them getting what they need.  I say, whatever floats your boat.
