I was doing my early thrifting back in Zed Simon's current stomping grounds - mid-Suffolk Long Island.  I didn't know of this site back then (pre 2002) and didn't know Zed.  I used to shop at all the places he hits now.  Most of the shops are still up to the same old shenanigans.  Now I know of him, but I'm in Phoenix (West Valley) - GB's and Cookie's old hunting grounds.

I feel like I'm a day late and a dollar short.

DH works at other Rocket City in God's Waiting Room, USA.

What is Huntsville like? We used to talk about his transferring there when we were younger. Now, not so much.

Barb, it seems you are the lone Alaskan. I'm thrilled you're here. You know I LOVE Northern Exposure, lol. xo

Just a brief observation: It seems that most of us are two areas (at least from the responses and by personal tally) Florida and California.

Any other ideas on this?

I live in Virginia, but the last time I was in Florida we hosted a nice little meet & greet in Daytona.  I can't wait to do it again.  I still would like to try and visit Florida sometime before the end of the year.
