Hey, welcome to  the area!  I live across the river in Northern KY.  If you are ever in Newport, you must try my favorite thirft shop, Village Discount Outlet, on Monmouth St in the Newport Shopping Center.  You will love it!  I do.
Thursdays are the best days to go I think, altho I have found some great thing there at all different times.  Thursday is the day the new half price color goes into effect.  I try to go early if I can.
Don't know where you live but in the Hyde Park Plaza in Hyde Park, there is a shop called Legacies.  High end with some prices to go with it but occassionally some great finds.  I think it helps fund Cancer Family Care.
 Good luck with tshopping.

Thanks Jeannie, I live North of the city in Wyoming right now but I just moved from Berea, KY. I am certainly willing to travel a bit for a good thrift so I will try to get down there soon, Thursday my bf has off so maybe I will get him to take me down there since he's from here and knows the area better. Amazingly, he encourages my thrift shopping.

Thanks!

My aunt went to Berea College-although in the 50's. I have never made it down to the Crafts show every year but have always wanted to go.  Perhaps someday.
