Hi all,

I am not a major Thrift Store shopper as I prefer G-sales. I only started getting seriously into G-sales this past summer. I arranged with my company to work more hours Monday to thursday and on Friday morning I head out on the open road sucking a smokestack and listening to some Neil Young. However, I do go to the odd Thirft store and may even go today. I agree with the Overpricing post and also agree that the main "perp" is the Goodwill.

Hope you find something good.  I love church sales and yard sales, but they don't have any around here in the winter.  Auctions and thrift stores are the only junkin spots in the winter.  Luckily the thrifts in my area are pretty well priced

Didn't find much except a vintage deck of playing cards with golfers on it for $2. I buy almost entirely to resell so the price has to be good. I went to two shops. The 2nd was a GW near my home and when I walked out (empty handed) I almost made a vow to never step foot in there again!
