Just wanted to say hi to everyone and let you ALL know how much I enjoy this forum!

Like most of you...I feel I have found a place among others that I can feel safe exposing my "passion" for not only thrift stores...but estate sales, yard sales, craigslist, whatever and wherever I can hunt out the treasures that make my heart pound!

YES I am a thrift addict and proud of it!!!!  I love it!!!

I am in the process of putting all of my finds on itaggit.com (it's a free site where you can post all your things and include up to 10 pics each for free...and you can keep it private - like for insurance purposes - or make it public to share)...when I get a little further along I will post the link so you can all see some of the things I have found!

I'm breaking my silence today specifically because from my reading I know that there are a bunch of people here that are really in to vintage electronics and when I was checking out estatesales.net (my estate sale connection)...I came across a sale that is going to be in the Palm Bay, FL area this weekend...they listed (and have pics) of a bunch of Rotel stuff, Hartley speakers, Bang & Olufsen stuff, and a lot of others...now I didn't know a lot about the names till I went to ebay and did some research...but this sounds like it would be heavenly for someone that digs this kind of stuff so I thought I would pass the tip along!  Here is a link to the sale.... there's like 90 pictures of the sale - the electronics are close to the bottom (click on pic and it will enlarge so you can see it better)...

And for all of you who are not in the FL area...you can check their site for sales/pics in your area!  I always check there and on Craigslist for the different area's I travel to and find out what is going on before I leave!  LOVE IT!!!!

I look forward to posting/responding more now that I have introduced myself!  ...and I love the blog links that I have been exposed to on here.  I must admit I never really was a blogger-checker-outer before...and now I am!!!  So thanks!!!

It would be nice if it were a little easier to put pictures in the messages on this site (hint, hint). I do resize them to under the size limit & still get the message that the uploader is full.  I can only figure out how to include links to photbucket.  The photo gallery is easier to use, it would be great if picture files were as easy to put in the message as they are in the photo gallery.

I see that some people do get a photo into the message, but I don't know how they do it. Undecided

Hi,I'm Dianne. This place is absolutely great. The people here all have something in common: a love for thrifting, garage sales, flea markets, estate sales.I can also find great stuff going through the neighborhood and looking at stuff people put out for trash when they move out.
Glad you came out of lurking.
