Howdy folks!
I've linked to this site forever and only now found the forum. It really does my heart good to see how active the community is.  Happy New Year to you all!

Happy New Year!  Speaking of the Salvation Army, the one in my town that has been terrible for so long may be showing signs of hope.  A new manager took over and a few interesting things have been showing up.  I got this vintage Smith-Corona typewriter for 9 bucks the other day

I always knew that the donations at this thrift were being picked by the staff.  Now there seems to be a completely new crew so hopefully fun stuff like this will start trickling through again.

Beautiful!  I got a small old traveling case and I cut the bottom out of it to use to cover up all of my internet components.  Stacked a few thrift store art books on top, and it looks great!

Congrats on the typewriter, though - it must sound terrific.
