I just wanted to introduce myself. I am from a little community in Oklahoma and have been addicted to thrift stores since I was a young child in Nebraska. Now I work part time at our local thrift store so get great deals on anything that comes in. It is amazing what people will donate just so they don't have to dust it..

Yes, indeed, Kimberly! And I think this is true the more minimal the current decorating trends are.

We've had discussions on her before that, because many of us are what we've dubbed, "maximalists," we really luck out in this way.

Welcome to the forum.  What part of OK are you from?  I was born in OK and went back frequently as a kid.  Went back a few years ago and traveled down memory lane.  OK is a pretty state.

Man while i think it would be awesome to work in  a thrift store, at the same time it would be bad, because i would CONSTANTLY bring something home with me...LOL..
