one of my best thrifting buddies is drooling on my shoulder over your bowl. She is a bowl FREAK...and we've never seen one like that in a thrift, did find a small one at a flea for 3.00...got it for her for xmas I think, you'd have thought I gave her a porsche! AM so glad she gets what we all here get!

This has been some week!  In addition to the bowl, I also found a great sofa at the Sal.  Very unusual design; wood on the sides, back and seat.  A fine replacement for the my old Pier 1 wicker settee that my cat was determined to render into sticks.  $40.  I'll have to replace the cushions, but for now it's ok with just a quilt draped over the current ones.

On Thursday's thrift run, found a Kenzo sweater ($3.99) and an old Chein bank (90 cents),  plus Hasbro's 1967 version of The Newlywed Game, "The Exciting New Fun Filled Game!" (50 cents), plus an early 1960's mens sportcoat, made of handwoven fabric from India and originally sold by Lord & Taylor ($6.95), a really cool wall candle thingey ($2.40) -- see photo.

And the piece de resistance: a painting of Raggedy Ann trying on jewelry!! ($5.90).
