Neat site, thanks for posting it.  I love the green cake carrier under "things for the kitchen" in the housewares category.  It would look great with my other tins.

Speaking of vintage kitchenware, I found this little green refrigerator dish at the food bank thrift for .75 cents, I love the ruffled lid!  It is not perfect, a few flea bites inside the lid, but displays well.

I tried to find more ruffled lid fridge dishes on Ebay, but didn't, at least with the searches I did.  I did find this one on Ruby Lane, looks like it was a primary color set.

28 bucks is too steep for me, but I will keep my eye out for some more, I would love a set.  Anyone know who made these?

My guess would be Cincinatti Can Company or Hazel Atlas.  Do you have a pic of the bottom?

The bottom is the same as the dish in the Ruby Lane auction.  It is unmarked with a circle on the bottom.  I have done every google search with crimped, ruffled, pie crust etc. lids and only came up with the Ruby Lane piece.  I will have to keep my eye out on Ebay because if one comes up there I am sure I can pick it up for alot less than $28 bucks, the pyrex ones don't even go frt that.  Also I pick up bargains on Ebay because I don't mind if there is a little flea bite inside a lid where you can't even see it.

I think its Cincinatti Can Company.  Their mark is hard to tell.  At first glance it looks like a small circle on the bottom.  When you look at it with a magnifying glass you will see its really 3 C's inside each other.

Oh no, sorry, I meant that there is a large circle, like a mold mark, on the bottom, like the one pictured in the Ruby Lane listing.  These are definitely unmarked pieces, but that is interesting about the Cinn. Can Co., I didn't know they made glassware items like refrigerator dishes.  I have only seen metalware containers.

Why thank you! I feel like lately I am struggling to find worthwhile stuff, it is not as plentiful as it used to be.  Next Saturday there is an actual rummage sale nearby & another one the weekend after, so I hope the vintage goodies start to roll in.  I haven't been to any yard sales yet this year as I was away last weekend (I missed this one!- http://westernmass.craigslist.org/gms/1108022680.html  Cry) and other ones were too far of a drive.

A blog I like to visit that really has me drooling it is this one http://oodlesandoodles.typepad.com/  This woman finds all the stuff I look for and lots of it.  I hope I am as lucky this summer!  Maybe I will find some more ruffled dishes!
