Wonderful surprise to discover this fun group today!

I'm a public school educator (special needs, high school setting).

My relaxation fun is to thrift, write, research family history, read, and travel with my family.

We've got a new thrift store, here in the Tucson, AZ area - it supports Amphitheater school district.
I posted it in the directory list (hopefully did it right?)   Wink

I got the new listing. I'll upload it to the directory in a bit.
Tucson has some pretty good thrifting. I thrifted there once with friends that used to live in East Tucson.
Welcome!

Hi "Good Buddy" ~ thanks for the welcome note!
I appreciate you sharing that you received the new Tucson thrift store note(s).
Let me know if I messed up anything - so I don't repeat the error any time soon.

I still need to touch base with the manager -
I am hoping students from my classes might be able to volunteer there,
as my school is only about two miles from there. . . So much to do - So little time!  (argh!)

I'm sure the manager would be thrilled to get the help.

Do you ever get up to Phoenix to thrift? It's a thrifter's Mecca up there.

Hi -

Welcome to the board.  I'm in Phoenix, and it's a really thrift-friendly city.

This is a great board to be on for learning all about just about anything.

That is all.

Welcome to the forum!  I loved thrifting when I was there this past May.  There are also many interesting places to visit there.  Loved visiting the Arizona Sonora Desert Museum.  I hope to return there and visit many more places of interest and loved the thrift stores there!
