Hi, my 84 year old mom lives with us now due to her advanced dementia.  She loves to work jigsaw puzzles.  They can get pretty expensive!  Goodwill has recently raise their prices, so I must look elsewhere now.  Got any ideas??

Church sales will usually have them pretty cheap.  Also go to www.freecycle.org & check to see if there is a local freecycle group in your area.  If so, join & post a request for puzzles for your Mom & I guarantee you will get lots of responses.  In case you are not aware of what freecycle is it is a non-profit organization dedicated to keeping stuff out of landfills.  People post offers for perfectly good stuff that they need to get rid & don't want to throw out, you can also post requests for things you need that people might want to get rid of.  I'm sure there are lots of people with puzzles they don't use anymore who would be glad to have you come pick them up!

Thanks a lot!  I did go on Craigs list but haven't had any luck.  I will try your suggestions!

Also check your local library.  I know mine has a puzzle exchange.  Bring a puzzle, take a puzzle.
