Hi Se So.
I am having problems with two discs in my neck, and I am at the point where I cannot turn my head side to side ,up and down without getting very dizzy.I cannot lift my right arm because my neck hurts that bad.So I cannot drive anywhere.
I do not get out very much anymore to go thrifting.Darn it.
How about you?Have you found any more Emilio Pucci silk scarves?
It is nice to be back here...but I wish I could go thrifting. My husband and I would love to take a weekend trip further  down the coasts to see what kind of stuff rich folks take to thrift stores.

GB, we know each other from this board! Dianne is formerly Vintage Purse Lover and I am, after all, me Smiley

Dianne, I am sooo sorry for your health concerns. Please take care of yourself and take it easy. Neck problems are noooo fun!

As for thrifting, hmmmmm, let's see, since the last time you were here:  1 Givenchy scarf, 1 Mark Cross wallet (It's so old, it doesn't have credit card slots, Smiley Smiley) 1 Me-Ton vintage leather clutch, some very interesting art pottery pieces, one semi-dumb pottery purchase, great books and records and, yesterday, a fabulous VERA tablecloth, in shades of autumn, for a buck!!

Also, in the handbag department---somebody's gramma macremed a fabulous red purse and I got it for two bucks, carried all summer. It's just wonderful, and I got lots 'o compliements on it from the "ladies who lunch"  Smiley, which I did not expect.  Many of them said it reminded them of the purses they carried in high school. Shades of the 70s!!

Ciao, Dahlings!
xo,

Hi and welcome back!  I thought your post sounded like someone else on the board, but I couldn't remember your user name.  (Then SeSo did- good job!)  I hope you'll be feeling better so you can get out and THRIFT!
