Hi, everyone! I'm a Virginia thrifter who can't pass a thrift shop without stopping and having a look. I inherited the thrift store gene from my grandmother, who started me collecting things like teacups and bits of old pottery and Depression glass when I was a little girl. I blame her for my bulging cupboards and cabinets!  Cheesy

I've recently infected my husband with the thrift store bug; he often stops at the Goodwill near his work and several times has come home with McCoy and Hull finds, and his favourite way to spend a Saturday now is to get in the car and hit every thrift store in our area. Doesn't take much to convince me to join him, believe me!  Grin

Anyway, looking forward to getting to know you all here and sharing news of our best finds!

Thanks for the welcome, Big Daddy!  Grin

Cool.  Where in the Old Dominion are you?

I'm in the southeastern part of the state, Jay. The densely populated, deeply historical, militarily diverse, thrift-store paradise (they're everywhere!) of Tidewater. Cheesy
