Been thrifting for many years; selling on eBay for over 12 years...  Lived near Ann Arbor & Detroit for the past 9 years.  LOTS of thrift stores here, but with our terrible economy, things are picked over!!!  Love to frequent garage/yard sales too, before the snow flies anyway! Roll Eyes

Char,

Thanks for posting. I bet there's TONS of great thrifting up there. I know we have lots of listings in the Detroit area. I'd love to visit there some time.

I look forward to hearing about your great finds!  I know what you mean about getting in the garage sales before the snow.  The first weekend of December is the close of yard sales/church sales around here, the town of Northfield has a big downtown sale where all the churches have rummage sales and some of the residents have yard sales.  I can't believe that is less than 2 months away now!
