My name is Erin, hailing from West Des Moines, IA.

Probably since my teens, I've had an unhealthy obsession with Thrift shopping, and the odd things I find at Thrift Stores.  It's amazing what awesome deals you can find sometimes, and also often horrifying at the crazy stuff some people try to sell.

This year, I've found a new way to channel this obsession by sharing my strange and unusual thrift store finds with the world on my blog.  Please take a moment and check it out, it's worth it, i promise!

(You can even submit pictures of your own finds!)

Here's a quick sample of something you will find there...

This is possibly the scariest thing I've ever found!

That doll looks like something from a a Wes Craven movie.  I like dolls but would have passsed that one by.

I certainly didn't purchase the doll, that thing is way too terrifying.  That's really the reason i started my blog, so I can just take pictures of all the weird stuff that even I wouldn't buy (okay sometimes i do buy it, but that's not the point!)

Yes my thrifting habit has also led to many strange things in my home... such as a brass fly ashtray, a collection of copper music boxes, a rather large selection of salt and pepper shakers, more than 1 fez monkey... oh i could go on for hours  Cheesy
