You can call me AE for short.

I'm 25 and from Akron. At first I started thrifting because it was cheap, and then it was because I liked owning things no one else owned, and for the last couple years it has been for those reasons, and because I hate what big corporations are doing to the world and by buying used I give my money to charities who need the cash, as opposed to evil corporations who make billions of dollars while their products are being manufactured by 3rd world employees for pennies a day.
My best find ever is a bright red fur coat for 20 dollars from the salvation army. I like all things old--music, clothes, furniture, dishes. Right now I'm into silverware and kitchen equipment.
My current thrifting goal is to have the biggest box of presents at my sister's baby shower in a few months. I love buying little socks and shoes best.
