Hello all! My name is Trent and I'm totally addicted to thrift stores. I love to search through various stores to find that one item that just "wows" you. There's no feeling like it!  I originally started going to buy clothes and eventually fell into the vintage clothing business and opened an Ebay store called 34th Street Vintage.

34th Street Vintage is a creation of two friends. Two friends who really dig vintage clothes. Among our many adventures, we discovered that they were not the only ones who liked vintage clothes. So we decided to join forces to create 34th Street Vintage - an ebay store to serve the world its vintage needs.

We have been selling vintage clothing online since 2003. Vintage clothing from 60s to 90s are considered our specialty. We don't mess with reprints or fakes, our passion is strictly original vintage clothing. We sell vintage t-shirts, rock/concert tee's, vintage pearly snap shirts, retro jackets, and much more. We sell strictly on Ebay.

I would love to start an ebay store selling my thrifted vintage stuff, which is preparing to take over my house and home (and I could use the $$$$, t ) Any ideas, advice, you care to share would be greatly appreciated!

my advice is this - always include and get delivery confirmation on your item - that way the buyer can't claim they didn't receive it and get a refund; you have proof it was delivered!  Also buy a few things and get some feedback first so buyers will trust you - zero feedback for a seller sometimes lures the bad buyers.

My best piece of advice is always RESEARCH before you list your item. For example, when I found that duck I searched "duck head bottle opener" in current and completed listings on Ebay. I had the results coming up with Price Highest first and studied the listings that seemed to have the most activity. I mostly pay attention to the title and see what words they used in their ebay auction listing. Those keywords are very important because it shows what similar buyers will be using. I also look at the auction pictures for inspiration and glance at the written details. It takes a couple extra minutes to do this as far as listing your auction but believe me, it definitely pays off.
