Hi everyone,
Im fron North Carolina...and I was born to thrift!
I have visited this site now for a month and cant stand it anymore, I have to join in...I just hope Im posting correctly, I work on a computer all day at work...so other than spreadsheets blah blah Im a big dummy...so I hope ya'll see this....anastasiabeaverhausen

lordy girl...dont get me started..what do I like to thrift...southwest stuff would be number one...only *real stuff* no made in china crap..I found a signed navajo jug for 2.99 at our local GW last week...what a happy day!!!  I thrift coffee creamers..lol..but dont drink the stuff...I love big bowls and platters, like purses too, and books..and always look for stuff for others..thats the most fun to me...cookbooks for a sis in law...S King hardbacks for my son, amber glass and frogs for best friends...Harley stuff for my ole man..gawds Ive rambled enough...I ran a DV thrift store <several > for many years..ya'll interviewed my mentor in one of your mag articles...like 2 days after I found this site..I emailed ALL the DV stores I knew in NC told them about ya'll then saw Alices interview here...lordy I felt soooooooooooo dumb..anyhooo..enuff for now...ya'll are great ..I feel like I know ya'll ...*hummin..newbie newbienewwww* as I stroll out.......

We have members here who run thrifts and used to run thrifts, and Jay2therescue sells great stuff at flea markets. Yowza, congrats on your Navajo jug find. Nice score!  Ahhhh, purses: many vintage purse lovers here, like Diane and Oceangurl.  A lot of us have Pyrexia, and Alexandra is our fashion shopper par excellence. And these are just a few of the things we discuss/thrift. The list is endless! You will have lots of fun here!
