As a girl,my late grandmother started a beautiful starter charm bracelet for me.And I had added more charms to it.But my not so wonderful ex husband took some of my jewelry out of my box and pawned some of my irreplacible jewelry that my late father gave me as well as my silver charm bracelet.
I was wondering if anyone collects charm bracelets?

Dianne,

You tell me what type of charms you like. We'll always buy any thrifted charms to replace Mr. Niceguy's stolen booty.

I have a charm bracelet that I buy and add charms if I find any that I like.  I have way too many on it right now.  I'm thinking of taking some off and giving some to granddaughters.

I have a silver one, who could afford a gold one with gold charms?  I've collected charms that have some meaning for places I've been or seen or things I've done.  You can really buy a lot of charms for all the things you do in your life too.

I don't collect them, but I really like them!  I think it's one of those things I wish I collected!  (And don't pursue as I'm not a big jewelry person.)  My mom has one (silver, of course!) that she got for her 16th birthday... she let me wear it way back when I was 16, but the dumb thing was it only had one charm on it!  (Sweet 16)  It would be truly vintage today; too bad she didn't keep adding to it!

Good Buddy I love any kinds of vintage silver charms.
Some of the ones I had ***sigh*** were a mustard seed,a copper penny, a small horseshoe, and a four leaf clover.I also had a "Princess" phone on my charm bracelet.
But my charm bracelet was pawned and my memories gone away.

I rarely wear jewelry but I always peruse the thrift store jewelry counters for those profile charms of kids' heads with names and birthdates engraved on them.  I'd like to use them in an art piece someday, but they're hard to find.
