I have been seeing previews for a new show to begin tomorrow (Monday) evening. There is also a preview on YouTube.  http://www.history.com/content/american-pickers/about-the-series
I am not sure of the whole concept of show, since they also talk about being "escorted" off property by gun wielding landowners, but I know I will watch a few episodes. If done well, I could be hooked.

Once upon a time (or maybe twice) in a decade a bit ago I used to work with a traveling carnival.  We had rides similar to those shown on the show.  Do not know if I could assemble one in under 15 minutes, but I was appalled at the condition he let them get into.  At least the one in the truck should have been kept up better.  I was heartbroken.
I did appreciate the end of the show, where his brother held him to the babysitting agreement.

Also appreciated that this is closer to my part of the country.
