I went shopping at thrift stores in the Salt Lake City on 9/12/06.  Once I finally figured out the numbering system of the streets it wasn't too hard to find the thrift stores.  I only managed to hit 3 stores but I had a great time.  I spent at least an hour in each store.

I went to the Salvation Army, Savers, and one of the Deseret Industries Thrift Stores.  I came home with lots of clothing for the family.  Now I just have to find a place to put it all in the RV.  The RV is packed already with all the thrift store bargains I've found on our travels this year.  Soon I'll be to my family's homes and can unload all this stuff.
