Today 7/10/07 I headed out to visit the thrift stores in Grants Pass.  We're here having some front end work done on our RV so what's a girl to do....why go thrifting of course!  I visited 5 thrift stores this morning and 3 antique stores all within walking distance of each other.  The stores here are clean and items are attractively displayed.  I'd forget I was in the thrift store until I looked at the prices that's how attractive they were.  The most attractive of the thrift stores with excellent prices also was the Home for Good store.  It was so nice, just like an antique store with little rooms and really nice vignettes around.  Loved the whole experience of shopping.  Only took a couple of hours and I had a great time.

I so envy you having an RV!!  Even a broken down one.  Someday Good Buddy and I will thrift our way across the US in an RV with our logo painted on the side.  Sounds like you had a great shopping experience today.  I love it when thrift stores are organized AND inexpensive.

We're not broke down.  This is some work that we've wanted to have done for quite some time.  So we're parked at the shop and can still stay in our RV.  I went shopping so I wouldn't have to listen to all those air tools going.  Today was record breaking in Grants Pass, it was 104.  Highest ever recorded here.  I'll be glad to head on over to the coast and get away from the heat!  Of course, the stores are nicely air conditioned so that was a great way to escape the heat too.
