I went to UNH just down the road for a few years in the early 90's, wasn't into thrifting then, but I remember the mall.  There were probably some good thrifts right under my nose.  I don't remember the pez headquarters either, but don't think I would have checked it out at that time, I was more interested in happy hours which they don't allow in MA, or at least didn't at that time.
