It seems there are a number of new(er) stores in the Central Ohio area - primarily Goodwill branches.  The ones I'm just becoming aware of are north of the city - one on Sawmill Parkway in Powell; one just off US 23 at Rt. 750/Powell Rd. (Lewis Center) - or out east - one off E. Broad St. in Pataskala, one in a shopping center on Hill Rd. just south of 70 near Pickerington.   Haven't been too impressed by either the Pickerington or Lewis Center stores - small, iffy selection, overpriced IMO.

Have these stores been around for some time, and I'm just catching on, or are they indeed fairly new?  Has anyone been to either the Pataskala store or the one on Sawmill Pkwy in Powell?  Opinions?

I have been to the stores in Powell and Sawmill Parkway.

The GW off 23 has raised prices and Sawmill has nothing.
Check out the Volunteers of America on Indianola Ave. Good stuff!

Oh, yeah, the VOA on Indianola is one of my regular stops already!

I had just been looking at the listings for area stores and wondered about the GW locations I wasn't familiar with.  Since my original post I've visited both of the ones you said you'd been to, and don't plan to go back to either - they seem to be the "boutique"-type GW store and either didn't have any of the type of thing I'm usually looking for, or were priced well beyond what I'm willing to pay.

Also have checked out both of the stores in the Delaware area - one on 23 just south of the first Del. exit and one on Sandusky toward the south end of town (so about a mile between them?) - the one on 23 is big, the one on Sandusky is very small, and at both stores the things they had that I was interested in were priced a bit (or a lot) higher than my limit.  But they're good for a stop when I'm going to be in that area anyway.

There was an article in Business First a couple of weeks ago that said GW will be opening additional stores in the near future.  Yay, new shopping options!
