We try to test every electrical item, battery operated items, phones, etc. If we can't test it -- like something that has to be attached to a computer we have a 3 day return policy and I mark it as such. If an item is not completely working it is stated accordingly like the cd player may not work but the radio does. No returns on clothing since dressing rooms are available.

My friend and I did all the thrift stores along Route 81 Maryland line to New York state line. In PA you can take your puppy if you can keep them in the cart.
We used our Thrifty Shopper list and over 2 days did all the store on RT 81. What a blast! Best is the Humane Society Store near Lebanon. The mennonites have a thrift store with a Bolonga Outlet! The Mennonites Jubilee stores have a discount section which is the best place for a deal.
