I don't buy used movies anymore, we have too many.  The VHS tapes are 99 cents at GW here.  I wish that our store sold electronics, because I need a tape player.  I have tapes that I want to listen to again and our car has a CD player and my stereo system is for CD's too. I'll look at rummage sales this year.  After I get the tape player, I'll be buying tapes at GW again.

My local thrifts rarely have any music or movies worth buying.  If I ever find a turntable I will start looking at the records regularly.

Cookie's been buying all kinds of "kid" VHS taped for Audrey to watch. There's always Disney movies for a dollar or two and she's built up quite a little collection.
I've been buying cassette tapes to listen to in the car as well.

Yea I don't find many dvds either, they get bought up to quickly. My 2007 cobalt def doesn't have a tape player so that's out of the question. I have been lookin for dvds for my kid though she loves the baby can read program and for anyone who wonders it does work. she's two and can read words already.

I also buy VHS tapes for my niece and nephew to watch when they're older.  I'm still kicking myself for not buying To Grandmother's House We Go (Mary Kate & Ashley Olsen Christmas VHS tape), because I enjoyed watching it when I was younger.

I've bought a few cassette tapes to listen in the car too.  I listened to The Beauty & The Beast movie soundtrack a few weeks ago:P.  Some of the songs didn't sound like the movie version so it made me wonder if they had different singers for the movie & the tape?  I was so pumped a few weeks ago, because I found this New Kids On The Block Remix cassette.

I just got a car that has an 1/8" Aux input. Sure they say I can use it for an iPod, but I just now - like a couple seconds ago - realized there's no reason I can't use it with a Walkman! Or even a portable 8-track player! Oh, to listen to tapes in the car again.
