I wish I had bought the green cameo depression glass cookie jar I saw yesterday at the church sale, it was $10 but worth much more than that.  I had bought several things and was running low on cash, it was gone later.  I did pick up a nice pink depression glass platter for 2 bucks though.

Went back today at noon for the dollar bag sale, filled a grocery paper sack for a buck.  Some good vintage finds, so all was not lost.

Oh, this is just a little thing, but was at my favorite nearby thrift store yesterday afternoon, picked out a pile of books, one of which was a brand new hardcover by a major novelist who I like to read & then could have traded at our local large used book store. Hardbacks are normally .80 at this store, but this one was marked $2.50 which I hadn't seen. I didn't have quite enough with me to get all the books, so I left it there. Since I live so close I could have walked home, gotten more change, gone back to get it, but I didn't. Was there at opening time this am, the same cashier was there, told me it had quickly sold. I was so annoyed with myself. Just a small example.
A few weeks ago there was a fantastic large framed print for a "Western" movie, forget which one but it was a major one. It wasn't cheap, maybe $40.00 & this is the cheapest thrift store in town. I thought about it for a few days, thinking I would really like it either to put up on my wall or even resell. I probably would have kept it, it appeared valuable & was in really great shape. I kept checking on it, then finally decided to get it but of course.....it was sold.
