Well, 2 weeks ago I took a motorcycle class, last week I bought a Harley on my 39th Birthday, and over the weekend I went flea market shopping and picked a fantastic set of saddlebags for $60!

Now that I have the bags I can go thrifting & flea marketing on the bike, and throw small purchases in the saddle bags.  If I find an awesome furniture item I'll have to go home and get the truck though.  I think overall on most trips I buy small stuff, so I should save a lot of gas in the long run (and have a lot of fun !)

Thanks GB, ever since I signed up for the motorcycle class 3 months ago, I've been drooling over this particular bike.  I looked at hundreds of bikes at many dealers and could not find another bike similarly equipped anywhere near the price.  When visiting dealers I went to almost every dealer between Richmond and southern Pennsylvania.  Only 2 dealers spent any amount of time with me once they found out I wasn't buying a bike that day.  This dealer was one of them, and he has some of the best Harley prices on the East coast, so it just seemed natural that I'd buy this one.

good for you Jay!!! And Happy Belated Birthday! We sold our ultra classic last year, still have our low rider, and we are looking at the FXXX (I think thats what its called) the harley trike..my husband will probablly not be able to handle a bike much longer due to health problems...so I can ride him around when that day comes! Trikes hold more thrifty stuff too..:}
