But seriously, folks. My feeling is this:  if a straight guy is afraid of being thought of as gay, who's got the problem?  Some gay guys are really sexy and I can hug 'em all I want without having to worry about them trying to--ahem--"get fresh".

So **you** really have the muchos cojones, big guy, because you are comfortable in your skin. Geez, a technical,well-groomed straight guy who knows clothes and cookware and has a ripping sense of humor? What's not to like?

In urban areas its referred to as Metrosexual, or just Metro for short.  Essentially its a straight guy appears gay because of his grooming and and fashion habits.

As it stands now, I'm supposed to DJ for a friend's wedding (not charging her - she and her Fiance don't have a pot to throw cameras into).  It happens in early March.  I'll need a play list, a list of people she wants announced, and some legitimate PA speakers.  I have pretty much everything else (I use a CD mixer and an amp).  Of course, I'd love to thrift the speakers, but that's not looking likely, as in my 8+ years thrifting, I don't think I've ever come across any legitimate PA speakers.  I've also been scanning Craigslist, but so far, no bargains.

Jay - for what it's worth, I never thought you were gay.

Check with rental places.  Many times you can rent the speakers & amp. 

As far as appearing gay, I will sometimes go out with a group of friends and at the end of the night I'll have had more guys hit on me and/or offer their telephone numbers than my female friends.  This makes them very jealous sometimes.
