Right now I'm wearing a vintage barkcloth Hawaiian shirt dated 1973.  Its brown, rust orange, and various shades of avocado green.  It also has Tiki gods all over it.  Purchased a few years ago for $20, and well worth it.  I'm wearing it in the hopes that the Tiki gods will smile upon the DC area and melt the 12 ft deep snowbank that has engulfed my antique Buick.

Several weeks ago I found at a ts a Hawaiian shirt I bought for DS.  It had palm tree and hula girls all over it.  So far I hate to say it has not done squat towards moving the mountain of snow and the ice stalagtites that are all over the house and yard. Don't know about you but I have seen enough snow to last me forever.  I am sick of seeing it, sick of driving in it,  sick of shoveling it.  I want it to go away and not come back.  Ever.  Well, maybe on postcards.

It is pretty unbelievable that here in MA we avoided all those snowstorms that came as far up as New York.  There have only been two snowdays I think this year for the schools.  I guess they will get out earlier.  It has been very cold though I will be glad to warm up a bit.  The hawaiian shirts sound great!

We've had a lot of snow.  I don't mind driving in it, as a matter of fact, I love it because I get to play with my 4wd.  I did declare last week that I was tired of shoveling over a foot of snow every 2 days though.  Its also taken its toll on business.

Here is a sign I saw in front of a small church near my parent's house...

My jeans are thifted. I have had them for years so I don't remember how much they were. Most days I am wearing at least one thrifted item, usually more Smiley

my entire outfit is thrifted....minus undergarments....I'm wearing a pair of Hydrolic Jeans (1.50), a black Banana Republic shirt (1.00), a pair of NWT black Nine West heels (2.00), and my jewelry was given to me....
