It's immensely frustrating when things are overpriced.  One of my local thrift stores employs numerous recently arrived immigrants and they must tell them that if an item is a particular brand it should be marked with a more expensive price.  I'm sorry, but Old Navy dresses and shirts from The Limited circa 1990 (remember Outback Red?) are just not worth that much.  I can't complain too much though because for every overpriced item there are numerous high quality items they are completely clueless about.  I recently purchased a pair of Manolo Blahnik Carolyne pumps for $2 and sold them the following week on ebay for $160 (not my size). Not to mention the vintage cashmere coats with mink collars and the 7 For All Mankind jeans purchased for a few bucks each.
