www.modcloth.com  This is a link to the website our local pittsburgh news showcased this am.  This company was started by two thrift shoppingholics in their  recent college years and they turned it into an evolving business with thrift finds. I did  not see much of the site but it really doesnt look all thrifty stuff but I did find their humble beginnnings interesting.  I wish I could turn my addiction into a online store  Huh  (not ebay) Have a nice holiday weekend everyone!!

Yes, it doesn't look thrifty, but it is a fun site. I wonder if they find their vintage at thrifts or buy out estate sales? Enjoy your weekend, everybody!

i knew two women who were homeschooling moms who liked to go to estate sales. they would get all sorts of stuff, clean it up, and sell it to antiques dealers. this was a few years ago. i know they enjoyed it and did well.

What good inspiration!  If I wasn't running a thrift store I'd be thrifting and selling either in a brick and mortar place or online.

It's fun to look even if I can't afford their stuff.  I do love the retro, quirky things.

Oh wow, I just visited the site, how cool. What a great story about how they started. I admire people who do that. It's an attractive site, also. I looked at their books for the fun of it & they have a few good selections for "vintage appreciators". Thanks for posting the site. It's in my "little black book".
