Earlier this evening Cookie and I went to The Social, a local live music venue, and saw The Trachtenburg Family Slideshow Players. Ching Chong Song opened.
The Slideshow Players played an early show to about 300 patrons. They had a little skit that they did between sets of songs called, The Trachtenburg Family Slideshow Players On Ice.
The skit was basically a re-telling of some troubles with renting in Greenwich Village.
They sang many of their hits including my favorite song, "World's Best Friend".
After the show we met them as they socialized with their fans. Jason graciously remembered doing the interview with Josie for the magazine. We chatted all together for a bit then Cookie and I went for a very late dinner.
It was a very enjoyable evening.
