On Friday I was invited to attend an Antiques Roadshow location shoot at an antique shop. I got the opportunity to interview Mark Walberg.

Awesome interview!  Lucky you!  I hope you have fun at the roadshow, two summers ago they came to Hartford Ct, I wish I had gone.  At the time when the tickets were on sale I didn't have anything to bring.  A month or so later I found an awesome piece of California Pottery from the 30's with the founders signature on it, but by that time tickets were no longer on sale-too bad.  It was the kind of piece they actually might have featured, not ridiculously valuable, but worth several hundred dollars.  They like pottery on that show.  And I got it at the Salvation Army too.

Great interview and great opportunity!
You had asked about items that people had found in thrifts, it seems I can recall a man who founda silver trophy at a thrift that dated to around turn of the last century and was valued at several thousand dollars. For a dog show manybe?

They had a whole episode that was trash to treasure stuff including thrift store items.  I looked quickly at the AR website but I didn't see it.  It was one of those episodes they put together when they don't have any new ones to show, clips from random shows with the same theme.  I know people have come in with jewelry, rugs and paintings from thrifts that were valuable but I can't remember what else.
