recently found a book at the library sale - it was a pictoral history of the town I grew up in (which is 1 hour away, would love to know who owned it before!).  When I got home and looked through it, found $10 bill

I bought a pair of $3 jeans with $20 in the pocket once. Thought that was a pretty good return on my investment not to mention they ended up being a favorite pair of jeans. Smiley
I'll always remember my surprise in a pair of shorts. I didn't try them on in the store. When I tried them on at home; I thought there were wadded up tissues. Nope! Two $20s. It more than paid for my whole adventure that day.

Not in a TS, but in an estate sale find.  I bought a box of sewing items and included was a box of sewing machine accessorites for an older model Singer sm.  I looked thru it to see what all was in it and found a silver and lapis pendant as well as a silver charm that read To Grandma on one side and From Katie on the other. How sad.
I figured I got my money's worth out of the pendant alone, only paid $5 for the whole box anyway, so gave the box to someone who rehabs old Singers. So everyhting worked out OK for everyone, cept Grandma and Katie.

We have found a lot of change, credit cards, s.s. card, personal pics (tons), personal papers, 2 dollar bill in a book, a worker found $10 in jeans she took home and returned the $ and the biggest find was a wad of money in an old purse, over $100!
And then there's the weird and gross donations--used sex toys, stained underwear, open and unopened liquor, pornography and bags of clothing reeking of urine and/or feces!
