1. Thrift Score- by the fabulous Al Hoff, witty and indespensible

2.Dirt Cheap, Real Good- by the intrepid Chriss Slevin and Leah Smith

Now, this is ACTUAL "literature", though chick-lit:  Sophie Kinsella's Shop-a-holic series.  There are now four of them.  They're the only chick-lit I read (well, I also read "Good Grief", about a young widow turned "MERRY widow", well, HAPPY widow), and they're so much fun.  She (the shop-a-holic) doesn't shop in THRIFT stores (only an occasional antique store) but she's still a shop-a-holic, in the same spirits I'm seeing on this site.  I suppose, as a writer, I SHOULD write a thrift-store version but I'd rather stick to math-poetry and leave the thrift-store shop-a-holic to Sophie...

In doing research for our site we found Miss Hoffs book online. We bought it and have read it eagerly.
It does have MANY great thrift ideas, I'm not sure how much we learned from it but new thrifters will find it good reading.
